Hi.
I am a physician in McAlester, Oklahoma. This site was started in January 2006 when I became more interested in photography. Most of the pictures were taken by me. However, some of the pictures in the Friends an Family galleries were taken by other family photographers.
The pictures in the My Backyard Gallery are documentary. I am trying to catalogue the birds, wildlife, plants, and other natural phenomena seen in the backyard. There are a few pictures from around McAlester in the Around Town gallery. These pictures from "Around Town" certainly don't represent all that can be seen in McAlester. Hopefully with time the Around Town gallery will contain more and better pictures. The Friends and Family gallery contains exactly what it says, shots of friends and family. The Vacation gallery has far too few pictures. Hopefully this will be corrected soon!
The pictures are intended primarily for my family, but all are welcome to look.
